Overview
Danaos is a maritime ERP suite from Danaos Management Consultants of Piraeus, Greece, covering finance, commercial operations, crewing and technical management. Its Technical Suite includes the planned maintenance system.
Origin and history
Danaos Management Consultants was founded in Piraeus in 1986. Dr John Coustas, who also leads the shipowner Danaos Corporation, is a co-founder, and the software house remains an affiliate of that company.
The ERP was later offered as a web-based product. A 2012 Danaos newsletter described a cloud-capable web version of Danaos Enterprise, with smartphone and tablet versions. Today the suite is marketed as Danaos Web Enterprise, alongside DanaosONE, a cloud platform for collaboration with suppliers and other systems.
Trade press has described Danaos as the most widely adopted ERP system in Greek shipping. Its published integrations include HarborLab for port costs, Q88 for cargo history, and the procurement platforms ProcureShip and ShipServ.

The maker instruction manuals and parts lists for the vessel's equipment, the equipment list, and your Danaos import template or an export of your current data. Where manuals are missing we tell you which equipment is affected rather than filling the gap with generic jobs.
Yes. We extract and clean the data from the current system, map it to the new platform's structure and deliver it in the new platform's import format, with the history carried across.
