Overview

SERTICA is a fleet management system first developed by Logimatic of Aalborg, Denmark, and owned by the Italian classification society RINA since 2021. It covers maintenance, procurement, HSQE, crewing and performance.

Origin and history

How SERTICA got here.

  1. 1987

    Logimatic was founded in 1987 by four engineers from the former Aalborg shipyard in Denmark. SERTICA began as its software for planning maintenance and procurement and was developed into a full fleet management system, succeeding earlier products such as LOGIHOLD and the ePOS procurement system.

  2. 2021

    On 1 September 2021 Logimatic Gruppen sold its Logimatic Solutions division, including SERTICA, to RINA, which took the whole share capital. SERTICA now sits at the centre of RINA Digital Solutions.

  3. 2023

    Publicly reported users include Euronav, DFDS, Svitzer, Stena RoRo and Brittany Ferries, which chose SERTICA as a hosted fleet management system in 2023.

FAQ

Questions about SERTICA work.

Are you a reseller or partner of SERTICA?

No. Norsetech Group is an independent service provider. We do not sell SERTICA; we build, audit and migrate the data that goes into it, in the format SERTICA imports.

Do you need a login to our SERTICA system?

No. We work from exports and from the SERTICA import template, so your live system is not touched.

What do you need from us to start?

The maker instruction manuals and parts lists for the vessel's equipment, the equipment list, and your SERTICA import template or an export of your current data. Where manuals are missing we tell you which equipment is affected rather than filling the gap with generic jobs.

Can you move our data from another PMS into SERTICA, or out of it?

Yes. We extract and clean the data from the current system, map it to the new platform's structure and deliver it in the new platform's import format, with the history carried across.
