PMS software we work with

Our engineers have hands-on experience building, auditing and migrating PMS data for the leading maritime maintenance platforms. We deliver in each platform's own import format.

Every PMS platform stores the same basic things: equipment, maintenance jobs, intervals, counters and spare parts. But each structures them differently and imports them through its own template, with its own codes, field lengths and rules. A database built for one platform does not drop into another.

Our team has hands-on expertise with the platforms below. For each, we build new databases, audit existing ones and migrate data in or out, delivered in the platform's own import format. Whatever the platform, the content follows the same rule: every job, interval and part comes from the equipment maker's documentation.

ABS NSE

ABS Nautical Systems Enterprise (NS Enterprise), from ABS Wavesight, is a fleet management system whose maintenance module, NS Maintenance Manager, plans and records shipboard maintenance.

What we deliver for ABS NSE: maintenance jobs prepared in the NSE job import workbook, one row per job, with job type, calendar interval and a structured job description (task, safety precautions, procedure and the maker manual reference), together with the equipment structure the jobs attach to. We also audit existing NSE data and prepare it for migration.

ShipNet

Shipnet, from the Oslo-based maritime software company of the same name, includes a Technical solution, integrated in the Shipnet ONE platform, that covers planned maintenance and inventory management.

What we deliver for ShipNet: equipment hierarchy, maintenance jobs, intervals and spare parts prepared for import into Shipnet's technical module, review of existing Shipnet PMS data against the makers' manuals, and migration to or from Shipnet.

Danaos

Danaos Management Consultants supplies maritime ERP software whose technical suite includes a Planned Maintenance System.

What we deliver for Danaos: jobs in the Danaos import workbook, structured by system, subsystem and job code, with job instructions written to the template's field limits and each job referenced to the maker's manual; equipment and spare parts structured to match; and review of existing Danaos PMS data.

CFM - Hanseatic

Cloud Fleet Manager (CFM), from Hanseaticsoft, now part of Lloyd's Register, is a cloud-based fleet management suite. Its CFM Maintenance module is a web-based planned maintenance system.

What we deliver for CFM: equipment, jobs, intervals and spare parts prepared for import into CFM Maintenance, data clean-up before a move to CFM, and audits of existing CFM maintenance data.

BASSnet

BASSnet, from BASS, is a fleet management system with a planned maintenance module alongside procurement, inventory and other ship management functions.

What we deliver for BASSnet: vessel PMS databases prepared for the BASSnet import templates, review and correction of existing BASSnet maintenance data, and migration of data from other systems into BASSnet.

SERTICA

SERTICA, developed in Aalborg, Denmark, and now part of RINA Digital Solutions, is a fleet management software covering maintenance, procurement and other modules.

What we deliver for SERTICA: equipment, maintenance jobs, intervals and spare parts prepared for import into SERTICA's planned maintenance module, audits of existing SERTICA data, and migration to or from SERTICA.

AMOS

AMOS, from SpecTec, is an asset and maintenance management suite used across shipping and offshore fleets, with planned maintenance, inventory and purchasing modules.

What we deliver for AMOS: equipment, components, maintenance jobs, intervals and spare parts prepared for import into AMOS, review and correction of existing AMOS maintenance data, and migration of data into or out of AMOS.

ShipManager

ShipManager, from DNV, is a fleet management suite whose ShipManager Technical module covers planned maintenance, inventory and procurement.

What we deliver for ShipManager: equipment hierarchy, maintenance jobs, intervals and spare parts prepared for import into ShipManager Technical, audits of existing ShipManager maintenance data, and migration to or from ShipManager.

smartPAL

smartPAL, from MariApps Marine Solutions, is a ship management platform with a technical module for planned maintenance alongside procurement and other functions.

What we deliver for smartPAL: vessel PMS data prepared for import into smartPAL's maintenance module, review of existing smartPAL maintenance data against the makers' manuals, and migration to or from smartPAL.

Benefit

Benefit, from Benefit Software of Piraeus, is a shipping ERP whose Planned Maintenance System module plans maintenance and class survey items for office and vessel.

What we deliver for Benefit: component structure, maintenance jobs and job references prepared in the Benefit import sheets, machinery and spare parts import sheets checked and corrected before loading, and review of existing Benefit PMS data against the makers' manuals.

MESPAS

MESPAS, from MESPAS AG in Switzerland, is a cloud platform for technical ship management covering maintenance, procurement, QHSE and crewing.

What we deliver for MESPAS: equipment, maintenance jobs, running-hour and calendar intervals and spare parts prepared for import into MESPAS, audits of existing MESPAS maintenance data, and migration to or from MESPAS.

Star IPS

Star IPS, from Star Information Systems of Trondheim, Norway, is a maintenance and asset management system for ships, offshore vessels and rigs, now continued as STAR Suite.

What we deliver for Star IPS: component hierarchy, maintenance jobs, intervals and spare parts prepared for import into Star IPS or STAR Suite, review of existing Star IPS data, and migration to or from Star IPS.

MARAD

MARAD, from Marad B.V. of Urk in the Netherlands (formerly MaraSoft), is a cloud maintenance and fleet management platform.

What we deliver for MARAD: equipment structure, maintenance jobs, counters and spare parts prepared for import into MARAD, review of existing MARAD maintenance data, and migration to or from MARAD.

What stays the same on every platform

  • Content taken from the makers' manuals, with the source cited in each job.
  • One equipment hierarchy and job standard across your fleet, whatever the software.
  • A check of every job against its source before delivery.
  • Nothing invented to fill gaps: missing documentation is reported, not guessed.

Frequently asked questions

Are you a reseller or partner of these software makers?

No. Norsetech Group is an independent service provider. We do not sell PMS software; we build, audit and migrate the data that goes into it, in the format each platform imports.

Our PMS is not listed. Can you still help?

Usually yes. Most PMS platforms import equipment, jobs and spares from a spreadsheet template. Send us the template or an export and we will confirm.

Can you migrate from one of these platforms to another?

Yes. We extract and clean the data from the current system, map it to the new platform's structure and deliver it in the new platform's import format, with the history carried across.

Do you need a licence or login to our PMS?

No. We work from exports and from the platform's import template, so we do not need access to your live system.
